Spring/Summer Makeup Look

Here is a lovely bright and healthy spring look for you all. It is very soft and mellow and i think it would work on most skin tones as the colours are really subtle.

*DISCLAIMER*
I am no makeup artist - trust me. I do, however, read other beauty blogs and watch youtube tutorials, and this is mainly where i have gathered my information and techniques from. Firstly many beauty gurus apply eyeshadow primer, which i am going to skip as i do not own one. However, if you do, this would be a great trick to use as it ensures that your eyeshadow will last a lot longer. So, instead i applied my Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer to my eyelids and under-eye area to prepare it for the makeup i am about to apply.

So i can now jump straight in! The first eyeshadow i'm going to use is Starry Lights (number 69) from the brand No7. It is a light an shimmery cream, perfect for a wash of colour all over the eyelid.
After that i'm going to take (number 50) Tender and blend it into my crease. This lovely peach/orange looks great with all f the spring and summer trends that are around in the shops just now.
Next to smoke it all out a little, i'm going to place Truffle (number 65) on the very outer edge of my eyelid. I apply a little amount in a circular motion to blend it all evenly together. Finally, i am going to add some of the lightest colour into my inner corner to add light and make my eyes look bigger and brighter.

The next step is eyeliner, and you can choose to either apply a sharp black to make your eyes stand out, or use a brown to match the colours you have already blended. Today i have decided to use the brown, only because the mascara i will be using is in Brown/Black and therefor i think the colours will appear more in sync. I am only going to line my top lash-line and lower waterline using the No7 Amazing Eyes Pencil in number 10 Brown.

And finally, i apply my No7 Extreme Length mascara.

Next step, blush. To keep all of the colours and tones together, my No7 blush which is a coral/peach with golden undertones is perfect for this.

Last but not least is lipstick. I have decided to go for a Jemma Kidd lip gloss in 04 Shell.

So here is the finished look! Both drawn and me wearing it too!
