Holiday Rants

Well heres a new idea! Instead of giving you a day-by-day account of my 2 week holiday (which may take a while) i have decided to only talk about a few things and with it share a few experiences that i had that made me want to explode with anger.

Okay, so firstly, check-in at the airport. For some unknown reason, our airline did not offer online check-in and a bag drop service, so we had to stand in a huge queue. To add to this, you know when you move forward with your suitcases, and then the people behind you move forward too, why is it always the people behind me that decide to drop their heavy holdall on my heels each time?

Another thing that was not the greatest, was the fact that in our hotel pool, there was no lie-lows, ball games, diving or anything! Now i know what you're about to say "But isnt a pool just for swimming Zoe?" Well even considering many of our fellow residents were aged 65+, the lifeguard still blasted a Pitbull playlist everyday at 12:00, so i thought at least the rules would be a little more  flexible.

Now, you know how smoking is less frowned upon in Europe than it is in the UK? Well why is it that puffs of smoke are immediately attracted to my face after they leave a cigarette. Like seriously, i could have done with an oxygen mask...

It was the same situation with the mosquitos. Im never normally bitten but my was it different this year! Within the first week i had 3 on each arm and 4 on one leg and also 2 on the other, not a fun experience!

During the last week, we went to Gardaland Theme Park which had some amazing rides! However it did have some annoying people! I will give you a little list:
1. The ones who STOP in the middle of the walkway to look at their map and completely block your way.
2. The group who dont all get in the line at the same time and half of them jump the queue to catch up with the other half who are standing infront of us.
And these are just a few!

Finally, was the plane journey home. We managed to be delayed by 3 and a half hours because the back door was not working properly and the nearest engineer was 1hr and 20mins drive away. So we were basically kept inside the aircraft for over 3 hours waiting, and let me tell you, this also did not do wonders for my skin! I broke out with at least 3 spots from just sitting there in the (very) unhygenic air!

Although i have made many bad points about my holiday i did thouroughly enjoy it as many of the problems were 'people problems' and not a massive trouble to me personally, it was just that i wanted a share a few things with you that have made me very 'p****d' off as the saying goes!

So please let me know if any of you have experienced these situations and how you felt about it! See ya guys!
Zoe x
