Holiday Favourites

There are so many things i have been loving this summer season, so i thought i would share them all with you today. 

The first of which is my Vaseline Body Mosturiser. Now as much as the name implies you should put this on your body, i also use it on my face, especially after a shower as i have normal to combination skin and easily get dry patches. It works so well on my skin and doesnt make me break out in spots or take any allgergic reactions so i find it very helpful! It also smells amazing, and although i got it in the goody bag after completing the Race for Life, i know for a fact it can be found in Boots, Superdrug and even Tesco! 

Next is another Vaseline product and it is the Aloe Vera Petroleum Lip Jelly. I found this to work wonders after i came back from my holiday as i had very sunburnt and dry lips, and the Aloe Vera combats this well (which is why you often find Aloe Vera in types of After-sun).

Another thing i have loved during my holiday so far is the Batiste Dry Shampoo. I used it in Italy when my hair was slightly greasy, as i was washing it every day, and then i also had to revert back to my 2 day hair wash routine once i returned home and so i used it on second day hair to make it last until it was washed. It is literally magical! It gives hair an instant boost and refresh stopping it from looking greasy at all!

The Joules Winning Skin Face Wash has also been a saviour this holiday after my mass breakout on the aeroplane journey home. I had at least 10 spots around my nose, chin and forehead and so i decided i needed to do something about it, and fast! I then began using this face wash (which is actually my mums) and stealing a little bit of it each time i went for a shower, and it was amazing! It cleared my breakout in a few days and i was very pleased with how it left my skin feeling afterwards. I'm not entirely sure where this is available, but if you searched for it online, you could probably find out easily. 

Now that the hair and skincare are out of the way, onto FASHION! These L.A Gear shorts from Sports Direct are definetely the comfiest pair ive ever owned and are my go-to shorts on holiday. I also love the colour and even though i have had them for about 2 years now, im pretty sure their still available, and i will definetely be grabbing a few more pairs in different colours for next year! 

Also, i have been wearing these grey low-top converse To Death! They were given to me by my friend Rhona before school finished up for the summer and i literally havent had them off! They make wearing trainers so easy in the hot weather!

The last fashion item is a pair of magenta/plum coloured sunglasses which are in the style of Ray Bans, but are actually from a brand called Georgia in Boots. Now, i know many of you may not think of Boots as the place for sunglasses, but actually, i really like these ones! I dont normally suit this style as they look to big for my head, but i think that these are the perfect size for me. On holiday, i chucked these on to keep my fringe back with my hair in a messy bun after i came out of the pool, and i was sorted!

Now to end my favourites i have a book recommendation which i read on holiday and could not put down! I personally love Dan Browns books and have read three so far. However the one i am going to talk about today is Angels and Demons. I don't think that this book would suit everyones taste as it is very informative and you need to be totally aware of what is happening at all times (so if you're one that skim reads books then this may make you want to read into a lot more detail than before). It is all about a Professor who is called in to help solve a murder mystery. The man who has been murdered is a world renowned scientist and has created something very interesting as it is able to prove the theory that God did in fact create the world. The book is also very religious and describes scenes at the Vatican during the choosing of a new pope, but things don't quite go as smoothly as planned...An organisation which people thought had been extinct for years was set to rise again, and four of the cardinals who are favourites to become the pope are kidnapped. "Now what kind of organisation would do such a thing as to kidnap cardinals?" You may ask yourself, well, who other than the Illuminati?
