If your bored out of your mind these Christmas holidays, then here's a few ideas to get you going!
1. Play a board game with the family. I love doing this to pass time especially around this time of the year!
2. Watch a Christmassy film... and dont worry, there will be another post on that soon too!
3. Plan a Secret Santa with friends! Set a cost limit (£10 for example) and pick names out of a hat. Make sure nobody picks themself, and then get a gift for the person you have chosen, but make sure it doesnt cost more than your limit. Then plan a date to get together and give each other the gifts. It is a great money saver at Christmas but is also dead fun at the same time!
4. Help decorate! There are always bits and bobs to do about the house when it comes to decorating, such as the tree, the outdoor lights, hanging up stockings etc etc
5. Go on a night walk around your local area to investigate all of the lights displays. I did this every year when i was younger as I lived in a small estate in a really quiet village, and there would be lots of competition between houses there.
6. Watch YouTube videos. If its getting cold outside and there's nothing good on TV then YouTube is the way to go. You can find great Christmas baking recipes, craft ideas etc etc.
7. Lastly, make a Thankful For list. Sometimes in the heat of Christmas, we forget to actually be thankful for everything we have, and so making a list and adding to it every so often will leave you with a great collection of things to think about during the quiet moments of Christmas Day, after you have opened your presents and enjoyed your dinner that others may not have.
